Angela Minayo, is a lawyer based in Nairobi. She is the Digital Rights and Policy Programs Officer at Article19 Eastern Africa. She works on freedom of expression online, accessibility of the internet and data protection. Angela is also a Tech Policy Fellow at Tech Global Institute for the 2025 cohort and her research focuses on fair compensation of African news publishers by AI companies.  Angela is passionate about human rights and technology with an inclination to platform accountability regarding core platforms’ processes like content moderation and automated decision making. Her dynamic presence is felt across various platforms, solidifying her role as a trailblazer in the evolving landscape of technology and human rights.
