Abigail Hamwada is a seasoned design leader with over a decade of international experience in advancing innovation across Africa, Asia, and Europe. With a background in Architecture and Urban Ecological Planning, she has led user-centred initiatives that merge design and evidence to create meaningful products, services, and systems. Abigail’s work spans diverse sectors, from developing gamified learning tools to co-designing lifesaving interventions with fishing communities and advancing public health solutions. She currently serves as Managing Director of Design without Borders Africa
