Kadi Tanou is a gender, leadership, and organizational development specialist with over 15 years of experience advancing women’s leadership, political participation, organizational development, and gender equality.

She is the President of Leadafricaines, a civil society organization based in Côte d’Ivoire that promotes women’s leadership, economic empowerment, and the prevention and response to gender-based violence through community-driven and evidence-based approaches.

Through the VOTE Women programme, implemented in partnership with Pollicy, Kadi leads the implementation of the initiative in Côte d’Ivoire, contributing to efforts to strengthen the digital resilience of women leaders during electoral periods. Her work includes research on technology-facilitated gender-based violence, coordinating a national network of women leaders, and supporting advocacy for safer and more inclusive digital spaces.

Kadi is passionate about building inclusive societies where women can safely participate in public life. She brings a practical perspective to conversations on gender, democracy, digital rights, and social innovation, drawing on extensive experience working with communities, public institutions, and international partners.
