Noelyn Nassuuna is a certified digital wellness practitioner and communications professional working at the intersection of digital safety, online wellbeing, and civic space protection. She currently serves with Defenders Protection Initiative, where she supports initiatives that strengthen the safety, resilience, and digital security of human rights defenders, civil society actors, journalists, and young people.
Her work focuses on promoting healthier and safer digital environments through awareness, training, advocacy, and practical support on issues such as online harms, surveillance, digital burnout, cyber hygiene, and responsible technology use. Noelyn is passionate about helping individuals and communities understand not only how to stay secure online, but also how to build healthier relationships with technology.
Through her engagements, she advocates for digital spaces that are safe, inclusive, rights-respecting, and supportive of mental wellbeing, especially for young people, women, and civic actors navigating today’s fast-changing online environment.
