Selamawit is a Pan-African feminist with over 9 years of experience in digital rights, gender equality, youth inclusion, and feminist programming. She is the founder of SheEsecures, an initiative advancing women’s online safety and internet freedom. A Safe Sisters Fellow, Mandela Washington Fellow, and DRILL Fellow, she has trained over 100 women human rights defenders, journalists, and adolescent girls across Africa on digital safety.
She is currently working at Pollicy as Program Manager.
