Mr. Baker Birikujja is Uganda’s National Personal Data Protection Director with over a decade of experience in data privacy governance, legal drafting, and regulatory affairs. He leads Uganda’s data protection efforts, advancing privacy rights and compliance with national law. He has played key roles in expanding data controller registrations, developing compliance frameworks, and fostering international regulatory cooperation. Mr. Birikujja is committed to strengthening accountability and positioning Uganda as a regional privacy leader.
