Daho Serge is a Political Scientist and Jurist by training. He is currently an ICT4D Researcher with PROTEGE-QV, a civil society organisation based in Yaounde (Cameroon). In this capacity, he has actively contributed to many ICTs and gender related publications, studies and training sessions such as setting up LEXOTA: Laws on Expression Online, the main outcome of collaborative work between PROTEGE-QV, CIPESA, Article 19, The Centre for Human Rights (University of Pretoria) with the support of Global Partners Digital. He co-authored the Cameroon’s country report titled “Women’s Rights, Gender and ICTS” (2013), on behalf of the Global Information Society Watch (GisWatch) and was part of the PROTEGE-QV’s team that carried out training sessions for the benefit of women journalists, providing participants with the knowledge and skills they need to stay safe in online environments, be it on internet, social media, smart phones, tablets and other connected devices.
