Matthew is the Data Lead and CTO at Open Cities Lab, a  civic technology not-for-profit start-up that creates tools and interventions to strengthen capacity within government, empower citizens, and improve trust and accountability in civic space. His work focuses on the application of cutting edge data-science, machine-learning, and information architecture design to city challenges.
