Lilian Olivia Orero is the Founder of SafeOnline Women Kenya (SOW-Kenya),a Chevening Scholar pursuing her Masters in Law, Innovation & Technology at the University of Bristol, Ban Ki-Moon Global Citizen Scholar, Mandela Washington Fellow, Datasphere Initiative Fellow and Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
With a career spanning over 6 years, she operates at the nexus of law, technology and gender. Her research has led her to prestigious institutions, including the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, the Centre for Information Resilience, Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law (CIPIT) at Strathmore University, Michigan State University, University of Pretoria and University of Cape Town. She served as the youngest member of the Civil Society Regional Reference Group for UN Women’s Spotlight Initiative Africa Regional Program (SIARP).
