Dr Maria Lauda Goyayi a dLab Consultant and lecturer at Mzumbe University, holding a PhD in Information Systems and Technology. She is passionate about harnessing Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and emerging technologies to solve real-world challenges. Her research work explores how digital technologies, particularly AI and data-driven solutions can transform governance, education, business and sustainable development. As an active member of the Tanzania ICT Commission, the South African Institute for Computer Scientists and Information Technologists (SAICSIT) and the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA), she dedicates her work to shaping ethical and impactful digital futures across Africa through both academic contributions and policy innovation.
