Uri Ludger is a freelance journalist passionate about the intersection of data and storytelling. Currently working with OdipoDev, Uri has worked on exciting, large scale data reporting projects such as Wizileaks; a consolidation of historical data on corruption coverage in Kenya dating back to the 1970s, MyCandidate; a tool built to better inform the electorate in Kenya and Nigeria about who exactly is running for office during national elections, and VybeCast; OdipoDev’s attempt at exploring creative ways to deliver data-driven stories through short-form video content.
Prior to joining OdipoDev, Uri worked at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation as a digital journalist, and worked as a Data Communications Fellow at Pollicy in Kampala. He is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.
