Wakini is a Communications and Advocacy specialist who, for the past decade, has produced data-driven work exploring gender (in)equality and digital rights.

 She currently works as a Senior Communications Associate at Development Gateway, an international nonprofit that creates innovative information management and data visualization technology, implements data-focused programs, and conducts research and evaluation to further sustainable development. She supports programs and projects to expand their visibility and communication impact.
