Yossra is a Senior Advocacy Officer at Niyel and leads the Initiative for AI Development project (IDIA) and data projects within NIyel. She is a researcher in African Union law and policies and has expert knowledge of parliamentary processes and policy development through her experience within the Tunisian Parliament and the African Union Commission where she was leading a regional project to accelerate Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights for women and young people in Africa. With the
African Union Commission as well as GIZ, Yossra has also contributed to the development and implementation processes of key African Union policies with the AU Member states and has
published several papers as part of her research work with the Young Policy Network on Migration and other organisations. She is a passionate Pan-Africanist dedicated to Advocacy and the empowerment of African women and youth in all fields.
